Balgowlah Preschool is a small centre caring for 17 children a day aged 3 to 5 years. We have an excellent child/staff ratio of 1:6 instead of 1:11 which is the DoCS requirement. This allows us to provide a more flexible routine and small group/individual experiences, enabling us to better cater for individual child. Our team has over 25 years experience in the industry.
Monday to Friday - 8.00am to 4.00pm
Open 50 weeks each year. Closed on public holidays.
Fees are $90 per day and are to be paid two weeks in advance. Fees can be paid by cash, cheque or direct deposit. Fees are still payable on Public holidays and absences due to sickness or holidays. Childcare Benefit (CCB) is available through the Family Assistance Office your fees will be adjusted accordingly. Invoices and receipts will be placed in your child's communication pocket.
A refundable bond of two weeks fees per child is payable. Four weeks notice must be given when terminating your child's position.
Children will only be allowed to leave the Centre with the persons named on the enrolment form unless prior arrangements have been made in writing and the parent or guardian informs the staff.

Parents can use the parking provided at the back of the Premises or off street parking. This is a limited to 15 minutes. Please ensure you hold your child's hand to and from your vehicle.
The front entrance allows access for wheelchairs.
Your personal information and child developmental records are kept confidential at all times. Only authorised personnel are able to view this information.
Parents are encouraged to become involved in the centre and its program. We ask for your assistance and input to continually improve our centre. There are many ways that you can be involved in the centre.
The Quality Improvement and Accreditation System, is a process that is developed to ensure a high level of service is maintained at the centre. We will be working together with you in looking at our policies, procedures, attitudes, activities, communication and facilities to identify our strengths and where we can make improvements. Your participation views and opinions about our centre are of vital importance to continuous improvement and required in the accreditation process. www.ncac.gov.au
